Covid-19 has affected almost all aspects of life and business and Wellntel is not immune.
While our final test and assembly operation in Milwaukee is technically able to run at near-full capacity, key parts of our supply chain began slowing in March and haven’t recovered. We have worked very hard to prioritize vital customer network projects and find alternative sources for key components for sensors and gateways when possible, and, so far, have been able to ship orders on time. Additionally, as of July 30th, we will meet delivery expectations for all scheduled in-hand orders. That said, expect new project lead times on network products to be impacted into the fall. As of today, customers placing new orders should expect to receive equipment in about 7 weeks – sometime in the month of September – depending on quantity. As orders stack, lead-times for sensors and gateways will inevitably lengthen.
We are working diligently to build supply chain capacity, but you can help with early orders and visibility as we work through Covid-19 bottlenecks.
Since some suppliers will be running with skeletal staffs for the foreseeable future, we are forced to consider all sensor/gateway projects on a first in, first-out basis.
So if you have network projects you need to install or commission before 2020 comes to an end, it is important that you place orders as soon as possible.
Happily, we can report that orders for Wellntel Data Exchange and Wellntel Data Management products/services are not affected.
Be assured that we are working diligently to build additional supply chain capacity and find suitable alternative suppliers. But please, also, be patient, and help us with early orders and visibility, as we work through these bottlenecks.
